Child Stars that Will Likely One Day Be A-Lister Stars And Child Stars that Will Likely Be Forgotten

We have a lot of A-List celebrities these days, but in 10 years one wonders who the next collection of A-Listers will be. 10 years ago many of us expected to see the child stars Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen become A-list celebrities. However a fashion line, and makeup collection seems to be the hottest thing they came up with in their adult years.

So which child stars will take home the Oscars in 10 years, which child star will claim A-list status? Which child stars will be featured on the cover of every tabloid known to man?
Lindsay Lohan disappointed us, but she graced the cover of many tabloid, but not always for good reasons, or great acting.

So which kids will it be, which child stars that we have now, do you think will be our A-list stars in 10 years? With star power equal to that of Drew Barrymore, Johnny Depp, or Brad and Angelina.
Here is my top 5 picks:

1. Dakota Fanning.
 
This sweet gem was an A-lister even before she hit her teen years. However she is one mini celebrity, that I really think will blossom into a very well known, A-lister. At 16 years old, she played a wonderful role in the second installment of Twilight. You wold never have guessed this powerful role was played by a teenager.

This is why I chose Dakotta as my number 1 choice. I think she is going to take on some really powerful and stunning roles in her adult years.

2. Surri Cruise
 
Although she is not a child actress as of this moment, this little girl has one of the most angelic and sweetest faces to ever grace this world. I find her to be perfectly stunning, and a face that could possibly, one day take on really wonderful, dramatic roles like her mother and her father had. She already shows a superb sense of style, grace, and charisma.

3. David Henrie
 
This bulging teen heart throb has the capability of breaking the child star mold and becoming a wonderful lead in movies in his adult life. Throughout his childhood we watched as he blossomed from a screechy little boy, to a young man who has a toned up body, and could easily one day play the role of an A-lister. Let's just hope he doesn't fall off and go forgotten. He's got a good face, a body to match it, and he is a really talented actor. Cheers to David becoming an A-lister in his later adult years.

4. India Eisley
 
This child actress has a classical beauty about her, that is both dark, moody, and dramatic. I find that she could take the stage as an A-lister if given the appropriate bad girls role that she would so perfectly fit into. The reason I chose her, is because on the show she is on now, she is the ONLY one of the cast on Secret Life of the American Teenager, that is actually capable of delivering believable lines (besides Molly Ringwald).

5. Charlie McDermott
Like Ashton Kutcher, I do believe that this young man will surprise us with some fantastic movies in his later adult years, that will rise him up to A-list status.

Child Stars That I Don't Think Will Make the Cut:
 
1. Hanna... I mean... Miley Cyrus
 
And there is why. Children who are fans of her now, do not differentiate the two. She's a child star, whom made A-list status way too young, she peaked at 15. Powerful roles just won't be her forte.

2. Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, and those girls on iCarly, and the Jonas
 
Sorry, I just don't see much more than Disney/Nickeloden made movies for these guys. Till a new and fresh bunch comes along, this handful of Nick and Disney made stars will eventually just fall off. Perhaps 1 or 2 will make the transition from child star, to adult A-lister. If they are lucky/unlucky like Britney Spears.
 
3. Justin Bieber
 
He's hot now, sure. But wait till this one goes through puberty... it's all over for this one, once the girly voice is gone and he cuts his hair. You'd be shocked at how fast little girls can change their minds. One day it was the Jonas, today it's Justin. Tomorrow... we shall see. I know a lot of teenie boppers are going to leave me some hateful comments for this one. But google Justin's name in 10 years, and see what you find. Same thing that happened to the New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys.

4. Zac Effron
 
This one is adorable, with his micro Jared Leto looks. It's so black and white when it comes to him though in my opinion. He has a really lovely and handsome face, which could land him some excellent roles in his later adult years. But like Jared Leto, I don't think his stardom will be all too A-lister.
