Easy 5 Minute Hairstyles for Holiday Parties

Let's face it, not all of us have the time to dilly dally with our hair. Most women these days are out and about, juggling both a job, school and families. Most of the time we are lucky to get 10 minutes of the day to ourselves.

When big holiday parties are thrown onto our plates we have to compromise our time between getting ready with our outfits and, of course, our hair.

One major time stopper when it comes to styling hair is frizz. Usually when you are getting all dazzled up for a holiday party or formal event, your nerves get the best of you. You are rushing around, trying to not be late and before you know it you are sweating.

Sweat can frazzle even the most pin straight hair. Before getting ready, 1 tip I would advise would be to layer your hair with some John Frieda Frizz Ease, that way when you are running around getting ready, and working up a sweat, the balm will keep hair in it's best shape.

The next step is figuring out how to wear your hair.

For women with short hair, adding a simple rhinestone bow clip could throw a quick elegant look together with absolutely no effort. Just brush your hair, add a small dash of hair spray, and garnish the side of your hair with the clip.

For women with long hair straight hair you can first add FX Molding Wax to the tips of your hair. After applying the hair wax, use a curling iron to add some elegant loose curls. You can let the hair hang loose, or you can tie back the sides with barrettes or clips.

For women with curly hair, you can go to a holiday party as is, as curly hair is always a desirable look for you. However if you want to spice up your normal hair with some pizazz you too can add simple clips, or a thin headband to pull back the hair for the illusion of even more body.

Women who have frizzy hair always have a more difficult time when it comes to quick styling hair. However if you remembered to add some Frizz Ease, your frizz will be more relaxed. Next tie your hair back in a very tight bun, and add either a bun net, or some very small hair clips to the bun for extra festivity.

A bun is always a fool proof method for when you are having a bad hair day, but you don't want to tie your hair back in a sloppy manner. Twist the hair, and clip it up. Use hair spray to settle down any loose snarls at the top of your hear. The hairspray will also add shine and hold things in place as the night goes on.

There are just a few things you need in order to achieve quick 5 minute hair styles, they include frizz ease balm, hairspray, and hair clips.
