Wizards Of Waverly Place is a fun lovable series that has been airing on
Disney. It is about a family who's 3 children all are wizards. Their
father who was once a wizard in the past has now taken the role of
teaching them magic, even though he himself has no powers anymore, he
knows magic well enough as to where he is able to be their teacher.
In Potion Commotion (season 1, episode 11), Alex once again manages to land herself into trouble when a spell backfires on herself.
You see Alex was simply tying to place a love spell on a boy she was
crushing on. Instead she drinks her love potion, and ends up falling in
love with herself. Alex becomes so enthralled with herself that her head
blows up nearly 5 times its normal size.
This episode was particularly funny because Alex (Selena Gomez)
already has a semi large head, and blowing it up made her look like a
complete bobble head which was hilarious looking.
Meanwhile Justin is competing against the boy whom Alex is crushing on
for the World School Summit. Justin knows that the only reason that his
competition is even in the contest to winning, is because he is such a
giant suck up and he is popular.
When Justin has the teacher over who will be choosing the winner,
Justin's competition ends up showing up while Justin is trying to
impress the teacher. He uses Alex as his excuse to being there, when
really he is there to try and sabotage Justin's chance at winning by
stealing away the teachers attention, and by sucking up to him.
Overall:
This was a pretty hilarious episode, and I won't ruin the outcome. I
will say though, that it was fun from start to finish, with tons of
comical moments, and some serious moments. All in all though it was a
good episode, and I'd rate it 8.5 stars out of 10.
