Recently I have been addicted to Disney's newest series called Wizards
Of Waverly Place. The show is about a family of 5. 3 children whom all
possess magical wizard powers. Their father who once had powers (lost
them because he married a mortal) teaches his 3 children spells, charms,
and enchantments.
Basically the show reminds me of a more modern day Sabrina The Teenage
Witch. If you loved Sabrina, than likely you will love Wizards Of
Waverly Place.
One recent show I got the pleasure to view was Curb Your Dragon (Season 1, Ep. 8).
In this particular show Alex decided to buy her brother a dragon who
is actually under a spell to look like a dog, that way the dragon can
live with mortals and look like a dog, without being discovered he is a
dragon.
Justin who once had a dog before is very nervous that something bad
will happen to Dragon, the same way something bad happened to his first
dog he had years ago.
He however decided to embrace Dragon, and falls in love with him quite quickly.
When the kids ask their parents to keep the dog, they don't really say
no, or yes. Alex decides to use her wit and tell her parents that they
will put up Found Dog posters. If no one claims him, then they can keep
him. Alex figures that seeing how no one is missing this dog, no one
will claim the dog.
Alex's plan backfires and someone comes to claim the dog.
The children search out Dragon and discover from a newspaper stand boy
that someone had picked the dog up, and the same person also picked up a
magazine that involved dog shows.
The kids seek out Dragon at this local dog show, and discover that the
wizard who sold them Dragon, was the same person who claimed him!
I won't spoil the ending, but I will say that Curb Your Dragon was a really cute episode in the series.
Wizards Of Waverly Place is a really adorable show that young children
and adults alike will enjoy. It is filled with silly humor, morals, and
lessons in nearly each and every episode.
This particular episode in my opinion easily gets a 9.5 out of 10 stars.
