I admit it, I have fallen in love with the Disney show Wizards Of
Waverly Place. In every episode something new, fun, comical, and
exciting happened, so it was no real big shocker to discover that the
beloved show would be returning this September for another season!
Even more exciting was discovering that Wizards Of Waverly Place
Season 2 will be kicking off on September 12th with an episode called Smarty Pants.
Not much is being said about Smarty Pants, but from what I gathered it
will involve Alex using her magic to help get answers on some sort of
academic exam that her and her friend Harper have entered. Of course
that is going to backfire... but we shall have to wait and see what
happens!
Season 2 as of now is listing 14 episodes which will be running week
after week on the Disney Channel. Check your local listings for times.
Season 2 titles in order are as followed:
Episode 1: Smarty Pants
Episode 2: Beware Wolf (Oh, the sound of it is exciting!)
Episode 3: Graphic Novel
Episode 4: Racing
Episode 5: Alex's Brother Maximan (Sounds like Max may become like a superhero in this episode?)
Episode 6: Wizard Outing
Episode 7: Taxi Dance
Episode 8: Saving WizTech
Episode 9: Saving WizTech Part 2
Episode 11: Plan B
Episode 13: Fairy Tale
Episode 14: Art Teacher
Missing episodes have titles that are yet to be announced.
At any rate though, season 2 will most likely be another fun filled
season. No complaints about season 1 on my end, so season 2 should be
just as good, if not better. Like in season 1, there will also be a 2
part episode which should be exciting.
For those of you who have never tuned in, and are curious as to exactly what Wizards Of Waverly Place is, read on...
Wizards Of Waverly Place is about a family of 5 who live in Waverly
Place. There are 3 children in the family though that are wizards and
have magical powers. Their father who was once a former wizard teaches
his 3 children in every episode a new spell, Alex (played by Selena
Gomez) though who is the family's middle child, always seems to learn
the spell, yet uses it in situations she is not supposed to, thus
causing the spell to backfire.
Their father however no longer has magical powers seeing how he
married a mortal, which is against the rules, so if Alex lands herself
into trouble, he can only help her by teaching her how to reverse the
spell. Then of course, she gets punished! Hehe!
The show is meant for children, but adults will enjoy it as well,
especially if you grew up watching Sabrina The Teenage Witch. It has a
very similar Sabrina vibe to it, only it is a little more modern.
I highly, highly recommend that you tune in for season 2, and catch up
with reruns from season 1, which air every other night on Disney. This
show does not disappoint!
