Wizards of Waverly Place, Season 1, Episode 10: Pop Me and We Both Go Down

Wizards Of Waverly Place is a Disney series that surrounds the life of a very special family. The fact that the 3 children in the family are wizards is what makes their family so special, odd, and quirky, yet lovable all the same.

Pop Me and We Both Go Down is another episode in the series. In this particular episode Justin lands a prom date with Miranda, a girl in his school that he has a huge crush on.

Justin thinks his day could not get any better, up until his sister Alex points out that he has a monster pimple on his forehead. Due to the fact that she feels sorry for him, and because she thinks it is likely the first and last prom her dorky brother will ever be invited to, she decides to try and help Justin by placing a spell to try and rid him of the pimple.

When Justin protests, Alex mixes her spell up and says the wrong one. Instead of ridding Justin of his pimple, Alex has animated his pimple. Now the huge pimple on his forehead talks!

Justin scrambles his brain trying to find a solution to get rid of the pimple, yet when Alex suggests popping it, the pimple begs for mercy, and tells Justin that he can help him with his prom date by giving him advice.

Justin being gullible, decides to listen to the pimple and allows it to remain on his head. At the prom he covers his head with a funky hat so no one sees it.

The pimple in turn does end up helping Justin out, sadly though as quickly as the pimple helped Justin, it also destroyed him just as fast. It is not up to Alex to try and get her father to teach her how to undo an animation spell without her father finding out what she has done to Justin.

Overall:

Pop Me and We Both Go Down was a hilarious episode from start to finish. It is every teens worst nightmare to wake up to a huge pimple right before an important social event, only Justin's mountain of a pimple talks, and he is not too friendly once he gets going!

I'd rate this episode a solid 4.5 stars out of 5 due to the fact that it keeps you laughing from start to finish. This episode in particular was a much, much cleaner version of Family Guy's episode when Chris' zit becomes animated.
