Wizards Of Waverly Place, Season 2 Episode 3, Graphic Novel

So it is now officially season 2 on Wizards Of Waverly Place, and although our main character's look like they have all aged quite a bit since last season, the show has not changed, and laughs, fun and surprises lurk in every scene.

In Graphic Novel (season 2, episode 3) Max and Justin stumble upon their sister Alex's secret journal and learn that Alex's secret journal is actually a drawing book where Alex creates a fantasy world for herself that she visits every so often.

Foolishly Max decides to bring her journal to school where the journal lands in the hands of Alex's number 1 enemy GiGi.

When Justin demands that Max get the novel back from GiGi before she learns all of Alex's embarrassing secrets Max panics and casts a spell that sends GiGi literately inside of Alex's journal.

Now that GiGi is inside of her enemies journal she not only learns all of Alex's embarrassing secrets, she is living them. From her secret Princess outfits, to her giant stuffed teddy bear, and her knight and shining price, wearing armor who rides a motorcycle.

Alex though is not very worried about the sappy girly stuff that GiGi is about to discover, she is instead concerned about GiGi discovering that the knight in armor is actually her school crush, Dean.

Alex has no choice but to jump inside of her own journal, and stop GiGi from discovering who the knight is. Once the girls meet up Alex challenges GiGi to a duel. Alex manages to win the duel against GiGi, but GiGi still gets the opportunity to discover who Alex is crushing on when the knight removes his helmet.

My Feelings:

Graphic Novel was an extremely funny episode, and the things that you, as a viewer discover about Alex are pretty funny as well. Who would of thought that the spunky tom boyish Alex had a separate fantasy world that included giant teddy bears, dresses, and knights? If I recall Alex was appalled about wearing a dress for her 15th birthday, yet here in her secret journal she's created a huge girly fantasy world.

All in all, Wizards Of Waverly Place, Graphic Novel is an episode not to be missed. If you are a fan of the show, or new to the show this is one episode that will likely suck you in to the whole series.
Graphic Novel manages to nab 10 stars out of 10 from me.
